Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Computer Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring smooth operations of their computer systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Identify customer behavior that puts their system at risk. Make suitable recommendations to prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions using our ticketing system.
  • Provide user training and support for various software applications and systems.
  • Ensure security and data integrity by implementing best practices and protocols.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to provide effective support.

Requirements

  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office suite, Mac OS, and common software applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and ticketing systems.
